Natalia Kolpakova’s Silk Art Redefines Luxury Fashion and Interior Design
She studied at the Kyiv Academy of Arts and Crafts named after Mykhailo Boychuk and the Graphic Department of NTUU “KPI”, gaining a strong foundation in fine arts and design. Her artistic journey has spanned advertising, book illustration, conceptual designs for restaurants and magazines, and corporate branding. Over time, she transitioned into independent work, exploring solo exhibitions, ceramic sculptures, illustrated tableware, and textiles.
“I am drawn to complex projects that demand exquisite professional intervention. Since 2017, my silk design work has continually evolved, taking on new forms and narratives.”
Kolpakova’s Silk Reversal Paintings expand the artistic narrative of her Players graphic series. This concept of reversible silk scarves continues her visual exploration of shifting perspectives, movement, and transformation. Each piece invites the viewer into a dynamic world where patterns and meanings evolve depending on the angle of view.
In a world of fleeting trends, award-winning graphic artist and designer Natalia Kolpakova creates silk scarves that transcend time—wearable masterpieces that tell stories, evoke emotions, and seamlessly blend fashion with fine art.
Each scarf in Kolpakova’s collection is more than an accessory; it is a narrative woven in silk, a canvas of intricate illustrations inspired by nature, mythology, and personal journeys.
“I want my designs to resonate beyond aesthetics,” says Kolpakova. “Each piece carries a message, an emotion, a connection to something deeper. Luxury isn’t just about beauty—it’s about meaning.”
